AI is changing how software is built. Developers can now use AI coding assistants to generate code, write tests, explain unfamiliar systems, and automate repetitive development tasks. But as AI capabilities continue to expand, enterprises are moving beyond the question of how to use AI for coding. The more important question is: How do we engineer software systems that effectively use AI as part of the development and delivery process? This is where AI Engineering comes in. AI Engineering is an approach to software development that combines traditional software engineering practices with AI models, AI agents, automation, enterprise data, domain knowledge, and systematic validation. It is not simply about using an AI coding assistant. It is about designing an engineering process and technology architecture where AI can contribute reliably to solving real business and software problems. For enterprises, this distinction is particularly important. Building a quick AI prototype is relatively...

In May 2026, BHSoft officially became an Odoo Partner, marking an important milestone in our journey to deliver Odoo-based business management solutions. Just a few months later, we reached another important milestone: BHSoft officially kicked off its first Odoo project with its first customer since becoming an Odoo Partner. The project started on August 25, 2026, with a pharmaceutical manufacturing company and is based on Odoo Enterprise 19. The implementation combines Odoo’s standard Enterprise capabilities with custom functionality developed specifically around the customer’s business processes and requirements. 🔒 Confidentiality Notice: To protect our client’s confidentiality, the client’s name, identities, faces, and other identifying details are confidential. The images used in this article have therefore been digitally recreated for illustrative purposes and do not depict the actual project participants. Our first Odoo customer project was not an overnight achievement. It was the result of several milestones that gradually shaped BHSoft’s Odoo...

Collecting customer data is only the beginning. For many enterprises, CRM systems contain a significant amount of information about customers and prospects: company details, job roles, lifecycle stages, previous interactions, marketing activities, sales opportunities, and more. But having this information does not automatically create better marketing. The real value comes from being able to turn CRM data into relevant experiences and timely actions. Instead of sending the same message to every contactus, businesses can use the information already stored in their CRM to understand different audiences, personalize content, automate communication, and guide prospects through the customer journey. This is where HubSpot can become more than a CRM or email marketing platform. It can become the layer that connects customer data, segmentation, content, and automation. At BHSoft, this is an important part of the HubSpot projects we work on: helping businesses move from simply collecting customer data to actually using that...

Our client, a long‑standing Finnish partner specializing in city planning and urban management, has collaborated with BHSOFT for more than a decade. After previously developing a web application to support their urban development and construction project workflows, the next phase focused on strengthening security, access control, and operational efficiency across their systems.

To achieve this, the client required the integration of Single Sign‑On (SSO), user‑group–based access management, and event‑management capabilities using Odoo. This enhancement delivers seamless authentication, clearer role governance, and improved data protection while unifying key workflows within a secure, modernized platform.

BHSoft developed a comprehensive, end‑to‑end solution for organizations in the education and training sector. Built on Odoo, the platform centralizes course management, student administration, learning activities, sales operations, certifications, reporting, and revenue management into a single, cohesive system.
Designed to support both operational efficiency and learner engagement, the solution streamlines training workflows while enabling organizations to deliver a more structured, interactive, and data‑driven learning experience.

Implementing HubSpot is often described as a CRM or marketing automation project. For enterprise organizations, however, one of the biggest challenges is not configuring HubSpot itself. It is the data. Large organizations rarely start with a clean, standardized dataset that is ready to be moved into a new platform. As a result, successfully implementing HubSpot requires much more than connecting APIs or importing a list of Contacts. It requires a clear strategy for understanding, mapping, cleaning, synchronizing, and governing data. At BHSoft, our experience with enterprise HubSpot projects has shown that data challenges often determine whether an integration remains manageable in the long term. When organizations begin a HubSpot project, the initial expectation is often straightforward: "We already have customer data. We just need to move it into HubSpot." In practice, the process usually looks more like this: Existing Business Systems → Multiple Data Sources → Different Data Structures →...

Connecting HubSpot to an enterprise CRM may look straightforward at first. A CRM has an API. HubSpot has an API. Data needs to move between the two systems. So why not simply connect them directly? The answer becomes clear as soon as the integration grows beyond a few simple API calls. Enterprise systems rarely operate with a single data source or a handful of straightforward workflows. A typical environment may include an internal CRM, databases, websites, marketing platforms, ERP systems, third-party applications, internal APIs, and multiple business processes that all need to exchange information. As the number of systems and workflows increases, putting integration logic directly inside each application can quickly become difficult to maintain. This is why, in our HubSpot integration projects, we use n8n as an integration and workflow orchestration layer between HubSpot and enterprise systems. Rather than allowing every system to communicate directly with every other system,...

In the previous article Designing a Scalable HubSpot Data Model: Standard Objects, Custom Properties, and Custom Objects , we discussed the importance of designing a scalable HubSpot data model before writing a single line of integration code. A well-structured CRM provides the foundation for successful enterprise implementations. The next challenge is ensuring that data remains consistent after the system goes live. For many organizations, customer information doesn't exist only inside HubSpot. Sales teams may continue working in an internal CRM. Marketing teams rely on HubSpot to manage campaigns and customer engagement. Websites continuously generate new Leads, while ERP systems, customer portals, and internal applications create additional customer data every day. Keeping all of these systems synchronized is one of the biggest challenges in enterprise HubSpot implementation. At BHSoft, we've learned that successful synchronization isn't measured by how often data moves between systems. It's measured by whether every department can trust...

Artificial intelligence is changing how software is built. Developers can now describe a feature in natural language and have AI generate code, explain an unfamiliar codebase, identify bugs, write tests, or even work asynchronously on development tasks. Tools such as GitHub Copilot and modern coding agents have moved beyond simple code completion. Today's AI coding agents can research tasks, plan changes, modify repositories, and create pull requests for developers to review. This evolution has created a new question for businesses: Is using AI to write software the same as AI Engineering? The short answer is no. AI-assisted coding can make software development faster. AI Engineering is about designing, building, integrating, deploying, and continuously improving software systems that use AI as part of their core capabilities. The difference may seem subtle, but it has significant implications for organizations looking to build reliable AI-powered products. The term AI Coder can describe a...
