About the project

The client comes from Australia. She is an environmentalist and works to provide sustainability methods for companies and corporations. The client needs to upgrade a web application that offers sustainability actions and gathers data. This web application provides a time and cost-saving option for organizations and businesses looking to perform sustainability projects.

The application is required to have a user-friendly interface and enables users to manage sustainability actions effortlessly. Additionally, all data should be interconnected and automatically synthesized to produce reports that are easy to understand and contain plenty of infographics.

In the beginning, this project was quite challenging due to the lack of documentation. All information related to the project, including design and technical issues, does not have any specification documents; therefore, lots of details regarding the website and the requirements are vague and difficult to understand.

Features of the app:
- The actions are grouped into topics and each action has detailed explanations and guides
+ Admin can search and assign actions for staff after entering due date, location, and message.
+ Staff will be notified when they are assigned a new action. They can keep track of and manage their action status according to 3 categories: my action, assigned, and completed.
- Metrics are captured from invoices and stored by category.
- Users can create a wide range of graphs that illustrate the data from metrics.
- The reductions captured in the metrics are automatically synthesized and displayed in sustainability reports. This report can be exported and shared on the company's website.
