About the project

The system is built to support inspectors involved in the monitoring process of construction projects by approved detailed record evaluation of projects.

The Client orders full pack of software development as required below:
- Research and find a solution to develop the full requirement of the project. Which is to manage Users, Roles, Tasks, subprojects and all documents within the portal.
-Support workers, supervisors to create and monitor scheduled tasks, planning and control. Tasks can be imported with an Excel file, from template, or by duplicate.
- Subprojects mean small construction works with sub-contractors. The portal allows sub-contractors to submit documents to get approval of subprojects and can monitor those subprojects.
- Manage all information of machines, schedules, locations, statuses… are working in the projects.
- View and simulate portions / subproject parts with 3D to make sure all are in a good position / location. In the 3D model, it can view related information, rotate, zoom in/out, and can integrate with another system. Ready for Map view and BIM.

There are some technical challenges:
- Understanding of the project definition with a big and long-term plan at the construction field.
- Machines and workers are moving under the surface, so we have to use RFID tags to manage the locations of machines
- Different technologies are applied; MS .Net, Open sources, GIS, Geoserver…
- Many layers of working environments: Production, Staging, Customer Testing, Development testing…

The team focuses on the most effective communication with the client to establish a transparent working process. Features of the system:
- A full set of management features for public infrastructure & facilities (Street trees, pipes, lines, parks, cars/ boats parking place, …) in certain areas of the city.
- Admin users can import, input, edit all items in the area, and can cut/draw a new land area. Admin users can also access a variety of statistical reports.
- End users can easily search, view and experience real-time navigation on the map. Users can view detailed information of objects. For example, users can see if boats are available for rent or not (green means “available” and red means “already rented”). Users are also able to report in case of problems.
- The system is able to integrate with other systems, viewing data with BIM in the city map and present in 3D city models.
