The Beginning
In 2002, BHTech, which later became BHSoft, started its journey. The founders' experience provided a strong foundation, paving the way for the creation of BHSoft. This marked the beginning of a challenging but opportunity-filled path.
Establishment and Expansion
With experience and strategic planning, BHTech quickly evolved into a strong brand, expanding into 12 new markets across North America, Asia, and Europe.
May 2013: A New Beginning
With the entry of Mr. Tran Vu Viet Anh into the management team, BHTech underwent a significant restructuring. The team grew to 15 members, and the company quickly secured new international projects.
December 2013: Collaboration with Vianova Systems Finland Oy
Entering the Finnish market, BHTech partnered with Vianova Systems, completing the "Ratas" GIS project successfully and setting a strong foundation for future growth.
July 24, 2014: Formation of Bac Ha International (BHI)
BHI, a joint venture with Vianova Finland, opened doors to new opportunities in Northern Europe.
May 24, 2013: Partnership with TechzSolution (USA)
Shortly after stabilizing operations, BHTech made its first major international leap by partnering with TechzSolution, a prominent U.S.-based software company. This set the stage for continued work with U.S. clients on various projects, including mobile apps and 3D model modification.
2015: Expanding International Collaboration
BHTech emphasized the importance of global partnerships, welcoming interns from Europe and the U.S., fostering cultural exchange, and gaining valuable experience.
June 2016: Expansion into Malaysia and Germany
BHTech successfully entered the Malaysian and German markets, completing projects in various industries and continuing to collaborate on new initiatives.
July 2016: Establishing a Presence in Singapore
BHTech has strengthened its presence in Singapore through major projects in finance and healthcare technology. Since then, BHTech has continued to work on various projects for other Singaporean clients.
January 2016: The First Project in Australia
2016 marked a significant milestone for BHTech in the Australian market. Collaborating with FileOptics, BHTech provided QA services, establishing a long-term partnership. Since then, BHSoft has continued to be a trusted partner for Australian companies, contributing to various projects.
November 2017: The First Project in Canada
BHTech entered the Canadian market with a web application project for restaurant reservations, which lasted nearly five years. BHSoft has since continued to work on projects in Canada, including SharePoint Filter Web Part (2019) and Car Wrap Management Web Mobile Apps (2019-present).
Professional Development and Rebranding
BHTech rebranded as BHSoft, unifying its operations and reinforcing its commitment to quality.
April 2018: Opening of a New Office in Vinh
BHSoft expanded its operations by opening a new office in Vinh, Nghe An, covering 120m² and housing nine employees.
July 11, 2018: Official Rebranding to Bac Ha Software (BHSoft)
After much consideration, the leadership decided to consolidate the company’s brand under the name BHSoft, focusing on project quality and brand consistency. The Hanoi office also expanded to 520m².
February 2019: The First Project in Sweden
BHSoft entered Sweden with the Prepaid project, laying the groundwork for expertise in Application Tracking Systems (ATS).
March 2019: Organizational Restructuring
BHSoft restructured its organization, establishing specialized departments and appointing key personnel for new growth. Also, BHSoft continued to expand into new markets like Norway and Japan.
July 2019: Development of the First 3D Web Mapping Project and the First BIM Project
BHSoft took a bold step by signing a contract for a complex 3D web mapping project with a European client. The project, which initially estimated five man-years, has since exceeded 20 man-years, laying the foundation for more complex projects in the future. Also in that time, BHSoft developed the first BIM project, BIM Open Tools, which continues today.
August 2019: First Client in Japan
BHSoft entered Japan with the SNS Data Analysis System project, predicting and providing early warnings for natural disasters.
October 1, 2019: New Brand Image
BHSoft redesigned its logo to reflect a new brand image, emphasizing professionalism and reliability. The new logo features a stylized globe made of interconnected bricks, symbolizing the company’s commitment to building solid foundations for clients’ goals.

December 2019: Launch of U-Oi: Real-Time Communication
BHSoft developed U-Oi, a real-time communication system, laying the foundation for future projects in video and voice communication.
July 2022: Fourth Office Expansion
BHSoft expanded its Hanoi office to cover an entire floor, increasing the total office space to 680m².
September 2020: Community Support During COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, BHSoft actively participated in supporting the community, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City, through the “Thầy thuốc đồng hành” network, and received recognition for its efforts.. BHSoft also donated essential supplies to healthcare workers in Thai Nguyen.
2021-2022: Revenue Growth and International Recognition
BHSoft expanded into 13 countries, achieving impressive revenue growth of 25–35%. The company was consistently recognized by industry review platforms like Clutch and GoodFirms as a top B2B service provider.
November 7, 2022: Achieving Cesium Certified Developer Certification
BHSoft became the first software development company in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region to receive the Cesium Certified Developer certification. This certification confirms the team's expertise in using Cesium’s tools and technologies to develop advanced 3D mapping applications, further cementing BHSoft’s reputation as a leader in GIS/3D/Web map software development.
March 2022: First Drone Control Project
BHSoft entered the drone control market with the "Housing Inspection Using Drone" project in the U.S., which is still ongoing. The project uses BHSoft's expertise in 3D mapping to create clear, detailed maps and models, showcasing the company's skills in this advanced technology.
AI Adaptation & Global Expansion
BHSoft has swiftly adapted to the AI revolution, incorporating AI, machine learning, virtual reality (VR), and 3D mapping technologies into its services to meet evolving client needs. January 2023: Pioneering ML in Product Development
BHSoft has been at the forefront of integrating machine learning into product development, as seen in the applicant portal and candidate tracking system for a client in Singapore. This advancement helps streamline the recruitment process, saving clients time and resources.
December 2023: Launch of RoomCAP, a 3D Space Rebuilding Application
BHSoft introduced RoomCAP, a mobile application that enables users to scan and automatically generate 3D space drawings. This tool greatly aids in architectural and space design projects, showcasing BHSoft's expertise in 3D applications.
March 2023: Launch of the AI Chatbot, GLEAN
In response to the growing influence of AI, BHSoft developed GLEAN, an AI chatbot designed to assist users with eye health inquiries. GLEAN, based on GPT-3 technology and guided by specialized medical advice, helps users identify early signs of eye diseases and provides consultation options.
