About the project

The system is built to support inspectors involved in the monitoring process of construction projects by approved detailed record evaluation of projects

The Client orders full package of software development as required below:
- Build and maintain a portal to manage the full life cycle of documents (Contracts, tasks related documents, etc.)
- Support workers, supervisors to create, monitor, plan and control scheduled tasks. Tasks data can be imported from Excel sheet, from template, or by duplication.
- Users and contractors are able to interact within the portal: Share information, upload documents, view status of the documents and view actions taken toward the documents.
- All involved users with the right access are notified in case of document update or when actions are taken toward specific documents.
- The second part of the package is to develop a maintenance system which allows the facility management team to monitor and plan scheduled maintenance work. The system also allows managing users and to notify involved users in case of changes and updates.

There are some technical challenges:
- Understanding of the project definition with a big and long-term plan at the construction field.
- Machines and workers are moving under the surface, so we have to use RFID tags to manage the locations of machines
- Different technologies are applied; MS .Net, Open sources, GIS, Geoserver…
- Many layers of working environments: Production, Staging, Customer Testing, Development testing…

The team focuses on the most effective communication with the client to establish a transparent working process. Features of the system:
