The Client is a company who provides kerbside collection services for eligible Gold Coast City Council (GCC) residents. Currently, the client’s services are available in the Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Gold Coast and Townsville regions in Queensland as well as the greater Melbourne regions in Victoria.
The client business need
The client is in need of building a platform web app that allows users to book waste collection services and personnel to manage overall processes. They need to gather customers’ payment details using tokenization in case users infringe any of the restrictions around the kerbside collection guidelines (e.g. adding prohibited items into skip bags).
BHSoft helped the client to build a platform exactly as they required. We have modified the current order process with new features and updated payment integration, automatic payment charges and management. We provided API and databases for the back end part of the project.
Features of the web/app:
Occasionally, it is quite challenging because some parts of current codebase architectures are pretty confusing to work with.
The BHSOFT web development team tried our best to solve the issue and we managed to fix the bug temporarily. We communicated with clients regularly to understand and meet their needs. However, we are still finding the best way to permanently improve the process. We not only built the web for our client but also provided them with full maintenance service at reasonable cost.
